Smart companies don't stand still-they recognize the need to keep their people across the value chain and across multiple geographies at the top of their game. So more and more companies are moving to or extending eLearning models and incorporating XML technology into their solutions. The benefit is lower cost and higher proficiency. This month we feature two articles that focus on the ROI of content and learning.
In LR news, we share how a small donation at Second Harvest Food Bank can make a difference. We also introduce our new client, Circle Bank, and announce our redesigned homepage at LR.com.

SecondHarvestSecond Harvest 'Share Your Lunch'

Lasselle-Ramsay recently helped Second Harvest deliver lunches to 500 children during these difficult economic times. How did we manage to do that? Because Second Harvest is a very efficient and effective organization, a donation of only $250 to the 'Share Your Lunch' program was able to get nutritionally sound lunches to 500 kids. During the school year, children from low-income families receive food through their schools' nutrition programs. Now that it's summer, these programs are unavailable. As a result, children often go without having three nutritious meals a day, and struggling parents turn to the Food Bank for solutions. We are proud to support Second Harvest, and encourage others to join in. To learn more about Second Harvest's volunteer and donation programs, visit their website, http://www.2ndharvest.net/.
